MAXIS professionals are experienced in preparing National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation as well as conducting the types of reviews required under the NEPA process. We focus on evaluating the proposed actions for impacts to protected resources such as wetlands (protected under the Clean Water Act Section 404), wildlife (which may be protected under the Endangered Species Act and Migratory Bird Treaty Act) and cultural resources (protected under the Historic Preservation Act). Our staff is experienced at developing Section 404 permit applications, mitigation plans, and other documentation required by the Army Corps of Engineers. Field data is collected using Global Positioning System (GPS) technology to allow the production of geo-referenced mapping by Geographic Information System (GIS).
